About Steven Myers
I earned Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Public Administration (MPA) degrees from the University of Oklahoma. I am a certified public accountant and a certified fraud examiner.
Early in my career I was an FBI agent. I graduated from the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, then served in the Seattle and New York City field offices where I investigated bank fraud, government program fraud, embezzlement, organized crime, bribery and conducted various government background investigations. I was subsequently recruited by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation where I graduated from the OSBI Academy and was assigned a variety of criminal investigations, both white collar and traditional street crime cases. I have investigated hundreds of fraud cases, conducted background investigations for the Oklahoma Judicial Nominating Commission as well as judicial misconduct inquiries for the Oklahoma Council on Judicial Complaints. I have participated in internal misconduct investigations and chaired employee disciplinary due process hearings. I have testified in administrative hearings, before federal grand juries and in state and federal court.
In the early 1990s, I left law enforcement and began a long career as CFO of several public agencies and public school districts. On each occasion, I was hired to help an organization in crisis. These crises were precipitated by negative audits or high publicity criminal investigations. I was tasked to correct problems, but more importantly, to help reestablish trust between the agency and its various stakeholders.
So why hire my firm? Because I have lived every service I offer. If you hire Trilogy Information Resources, you receive the benefit of over 35 years of rich, eclectic experience and quality, professional results.
